About Us
Helena’s Restaurant is located in two adjoining dining areas within Coopmanhuijs. The first area, beneath an antique yellow-wood ceiling, is appointed with richly embossed French wallpaper. Lighted trees – intricately made of wire – adorn an entire wall. In the second dining area, hand-hewn poplar dining chairs are set beneath the glass roof of a charming conservatoire, which opens onto the enclosed courtyard and swimming-pool.Although we afford preference to Hotel guests, we welcome reservations and walk-ins from outside patrons – subject to availability. Thank you for considering Helena’s. We are open seven days a week. Please note you are welcome to bring your own wine, we charge a corkage fee of R80 per bottle.
