Coopmanhuijs Boutique Hotel & Spa

Qneil at reception is an asset to the hotel, always there, always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was very nice we had scrambles and omelettes which were delicous. Rooms are spacious with very nice period fittings. The fire in the lounge was a welcome sight after a cold day.

We came back to stay here again this time because we enjoyed it so much the last time. This is truly a boutique hotel, with such charm and great service. The beds are so comfortable, and the bathrooms have heated floors! The breakfasts were delicious with a great selection of choices for cooked or continental. Dinner here is also a dining delight, and many people book here for dinner who are not hotel guests. That says a lot about the chef here. Muzi remembered us from our last visit, as he is a huge country music fan and we all sang together in the bar one evening years ago. All the staff are excellent. The location is perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance, shopping, and plenty of coffee shops and wine bars. Very convenient location.

Great staff, with particular kudos to Belinda, the therapist. Rooms definitely dated and could use a refresh. No power in rooms during frequent loadshedding, but a generator keeps kitchen running. Wonderful breakfast included, and dinner not to be missed.

Coopmanhuijs locates at the city center, Helena's restaurant is in the hotel. Delicious breakfast and dinner. All the staffs are friendly and helpful, making it a cozy place to stay.
